My favorite movie: Les amours imaginaires
"Les amours imaginaires" in english "Heartbeats" (2010) is a second film of Xavier Dorlan, canadian director. The movie is starring for Marie (Monia Chokri) and Francis (Xavier Dorlan), two friends who competing for the love of Nicolas (Niels Schneider).
During three weeks they have a intesive friendship until the trip to home of Nicolas's mom. Finally, Francis and Marie are still friend and they move to Asia.
I love this film because both protagonists are cuestioned many things: beauty, friendships, sexuality and relationships. But the most impotant thing in this movie is the love and rejection. In this film the characters expresing their all emotions and they never understand the love is many times is transitory and idealized so the movie motive to reflection about free love.
Also, I like the soundtrack in this film because is important for the narrative, the music gives instensive and rhythm to all scenes. And I love the silences and monologues of Francis and Marie.
"Les amours imaginaires" is an excellent romantic comedy from Canada. I recommend this movie because is a good experience: you feel happiness and sadness. And for me, the most important thing is the reflection about relationships and love.

I love this movie so much!! I love the character of Marie, she is so dramatic and extravagant. Xavier Dolan it's a man of many talents.
